Frame Vue Tray
Frame vue trays are also called double wall frame trays, which usually pair with connected covers to form a complete packaging style, this style enhances premium products display.
It is common in packaging for high-end bakery, food, confectionery, cosmetics, retail items, etc.
Folding, gluing, and forming of this tray are usually completed by tray manufacturers, while the product loading of the tray is done manually.

Working Principle
According to the schematic above, the frame vue tray former consists of the components below, let’s explain more clearly how this tray-forming machine works based on these components:
- Tray Blank Magazine
The operator first puts the tray blanks into this blank magazine, after the machine is started, the conveyor underneath conveys the tray blanks to the next station one by one.
- 1st & 2nd Long Side Panel Folding Units
In this station, the tray former first pre-folds the inner long side panel, then a cylinder control piece turns it 90°, and it stands vertically to the bottom panel.
- Glue Applicator
Then the tray blank comes to this glue-applying station, a photoelectric eye detects the tray blank and feeds back a signal to the PLC, and then the PLC sends a command to the glue applicator for application.
- Punch Former
A punch head presses down the tray blank into a three-dimensional tray.
- Short Side Panel Folding Unit
At this step, a cylinder-controlled piece folds the short side panel to cover the inner long side panel, thus the inner long side panel sticks to the bottom panel.
- Formed Tray Outfeed Conveyor
All the formed trays come out from this outfeed conveyor.
